An unforgettable journey

Hi,
I am back again with my second post, I promised myself to keep this updated but then promises are meant to be broken, right? Not really, though. Much has happened in my life since then. Everyday I encounter plenty of things that can fill up pages of this block in one go. They are not just a piece of crap, pieces though. But not worth to be a part of my diary. En passant, I shouldn’t be writing all this.
Well after a few days of my first post, Neha came back to Gurgaon on a vacation and I really wanted to make it special, in any way I could as I try and do it every time I meet her. This time it was no different. I did go to receive her at the airport. Hey!! Before I forget, she only taught me the correct spelling of “receive”, else I used to write “recieve”. After a lot of introspection and circumspection and after thinking a lot about the condition of the car that I had to drive, I finally decided to go alone to receive her. After all, I wanted to make it special. I saw her at the airport and she seemed to be looking better than before, I don really say things on face, so just said “ you look fairer” and she was happy enough( she never expects much from me). I was sipping a pathetic tea the moment I saw her, I wouldn’t say I am a gourmet but still can give my opinion about thigs I want to. She disagreed again with me on this one too, I am never satisfied with anything in my life. I want more. As if nobody does. Everyone wants more. More freedom, more money, more fame and more….
Finally we managed to reach the car teasing each other, I just love the teasing part in our relationship, the “motte” word from her mouth is so much filled with love and affection that I tend to forget every pain in my life.
Finally the car started, I was trying to catch every glimpse of her face, which was fairer now, however had to concentrate on the driving part. It was around 0100 hrs, as they say in US. I had to be a bit chary on the driving front and they say its not safe to drive cars in the night, especially when you are not carrying your license, the registration papers of the card I did not had any. All I had in the car was fuel that I got filled for 500 bucks which Neha’s mom gave me. The car moved at a steady pace with the heavy traffic besides us. I was in no hurry.
Ghae! ghae! ghae!! Suddenly the car stopped, in the middle of the road. It wouldn’t start. Hundreds of vehicles, majority was with trucks behind us. Truck drivers are drunk in the night ore often. They stared at us like anything and I was scared. I had no other emotion left. The car still wouldn’t start. It did not pity us. We managed to push the car aside, but on the fast lane. I asked her if she could start the car if I can push it from behind. She said yes as if she had been doing this all her life and was a perfectionist then. I was happy with the confidence on her face. I pushed the car, she tried to start. All in vain. We tried again. And again and again…. And then she told me she has never done it. Was such a relief when I had already pushed the car for about 2 kms and the destination was another 20 kms. Seriously, I realized honesty is good. What to do was the only question running on my mind. Equally important was the how part. I started to think otherwise. I asked her if she could push the car. She said yes as if she had been pushing cars everyday to earn her livelihood. Should I trust her now. I had no other option. I had to. She pushed the car from behind. And people, those drunken ones, started passing comments, couldn’t hear them, wasn’t interested too.
Vroooooooom!!! Vrooooooooom!!! Vroooooooooom!!! The car started. I was relieved. The heartbeat set to normal. Finally drove back to her place, without much talking on the way. She wouldn’t talk. I wouldn’t too. She was sweating, I was sweating too, a little more though. “Good Bye”, she said. I did the same. Happy ending to the story. But what if this happens again??

No worries. She is buying a new car now.

Cheers!!
